Becky Lynch demands investigation following WWE RAW; accuses major star of corruption

Becky Lynch demanded an investigation following this week’s episode of WWE RAW. The Man lost the Women’s Intercontinental Championship this past Monday night on the red brand.

Big Time Becks put the Women’s Intercontinental Championship on the line against Maxxine Dupri on this week’s edition of WWE RAW at Madison Square Garden. AJ Lee showed up in the middle of the match, and the distraction led to Maxxine Dupri winning the title.

Lynch accused WWE of corruption following RAW and is now blaming Eric Andre for the loss. The Hollywood star was in the front row for the show, and Lynch suggested that he may have promised referee Jessika Carr a role in a movie to help Dupri win. She also demanded an investigation into the matter, as seen in her post below.

“Why WAS ERIC ANDRE THERE? What does HE KNOW?! Did he PROMISE “CORRUPT” Carr a role in one of his movies (MAJOR FLOPS by the way) in exchange for a Maxxine WIN?! I DEMAND A FULL AND IMMEDIATE INVESTIGATION!” she wrote.

AJ Lee had been absent since Wrestlepalooza 2025 before her return on RAW. Lee and CM Punk teamed up to defeat Becky Lynch and Seth Rollins at the PLE in September.

Becky Lynch threatens lawsuit following WWE RAW

Becky Lynch suggested that she was going to sue the promotion following Maxxine Dupri’s victory on WWE RAW.

Lynch shared a message in character earlier this week and complained about AJ Lee not having a “manager’s license” in the state of New York. Big Time Becks stated that Lee should not have been allowed ringside for the title match.

“Three letters: NML. No. Managers. License. In the state of New York that is governed by the state athletic commission, a managers license must be attained for interfering parties to be allowed at ringside. Therefore, hence, vis a vis, the outcome of this title match, which has been clearly rigged, is hereby under protest. You will be hearing from my lawyer imminently. The changing of the side plates will result in a lawsuit.”

AJ Lee forced Becky Lynch to tap out via the Black Widow submission at Wrestlepalooza 2025. The former champion tried to blame the loss on a “rogue bee” that was flying around her during the match.

Italy to extradite pipeline blast suspect to Germany

Italy’s top appeals court has ruled that a Ukrainian man suspected of involvement in blowing up the Nord Stream gas pipelines between Russia and Germany should be extradited to Berlin.

There, former Ukrainian military officer Serhiy Kuznetsov will face a charge of anti-constitutional sabotage. He is due to be removed from Italy under German police escort in the next few days.

Prosecutors believe Mr Kuznetsov coordinated and led a group that planted explosives on the pipes deep beneath the Baltic Sea in 2022, though they have not disclosed any evidence.

The case has serious implications for relations between Ukraine and Germany, which is the biggest source of military aid for Kyiv in Europe.

Mr Kuznetsov’s lawyer said his client “feels like a scapegoat” and is “very sad” that his government has not spoken out in his defence, or even confirmed that he was a serving soldier at the time of the blasts.

“If he carried out the attack, then he did so because he was ordered to do so because he was for sure a captain of the Ukrainian army,” Nicola Canestrini said after Wednesday’s hearing.

The BBC has seen a copy of Mr Kuznetsov’s military ID among the court papers. He has not commented publicly on whether he was involved in the explosions.

“The Ukrainian government knows exactly where he was every day of September 2022,” his lawyer said. “So, if he’s innocent, why don’t they say it? If he did it, why don’t they say it? That’s his question.”

The BBC has approached government and security sources in Kyiv, but they have not commented.

Mr Kuznetsov was arrested in northern Italy in late August, at a glamping site near the city of Rimini where he had booked in for a few nights with his wife and two of their children.

His passport details were entered online at check-in, and in Italy that information is automatically transferred to the carabinieri, the local police.

Later that night, officers came knocking at the family’s door.

A month later, a second Ukrainian suspect was detained at his home close to Poland’s capital Warsaw on another arrest warrant issued by Germany.

Volodymyr Zhuravlyov, an amateur deep-sea diver, has lived in Poland with his family since just before Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine in 2022.

He was held in custody for 17 days, but a court then refused to extradite him.

The judge delivered a passionate speech, arguing that no Ukrainian could be prosecuted for what he characterised as a legitimate act of self-defence against Russia’s “bloody and genocidal” invasion of Ukraine.

In Italy, further from Ukraine, the mood and the politics are very different.

Mr Canestrini described the Italian appeal court’s ruling as a “great disappointment”, but said the fight for his client would now move to Germany – with the aim of having Mr Kuznetsov acquitted on the same grounds.

Many Ukrainians consider whoever did destroy Nord Stream to be heroes for taking out an important revenue source for Russia, and struggle to understand why Germany – a key ally of Ukraine – is pursuing this prosecution.

On Wednesday, one man stood outside the palatial courthouse in Rome wrapped in a Ukrainian flag and holding a poster that read: “Serhiy Kuznetsov is a defender, not a criminal.”

“I just reached out” – Tony Khan is leaving the door open for WWE legend to return to AEW

Tony Khan has finally provided more details about a certain WWE legend’s status in AEW and the reason he hasn’t been around in a while. He was also asked about their future with the company.

Chris Jericho has not been seen since April at Dynasty. He dropped the ROH World Championship that night to Bandido and has been on a hiatus from the ring since. His future has been in question with his contract reportedly being up at the end of 2025, and he has been linked to a potential return to WWE.

During his appearance on the Ariel Helwani Show, Tony Khan was asked about Chris Jericho’s current relationship with the company. Khan confirmed he was still with them and even mentioned reaching out to him recently.

“Chris Jericho is someone who is still with AEW and has been with us from the very beginning. He’s been away from us for a bit and he’s somebody who, even this year, has had great matches with Bandido, somebody that’s been a world champion for us, and was really at the very beginning of AEW, absolutely as key and instrumental as any individual in the launch of aew. I love Chris personally and professionally. I just reached out, wished him a happy birthday recently. I’m very excited about everything Chris has done in AEW, he continues to be with us. [0:04-0:42]

After being asked if he would come back, TK mentioned how he currently could not say more about this. He then revealed that Jericho’s absence has been due to not being able to work out the dates, and he had hope that the veteran would return.

“I can’t speak to that, but I love Chris in AEW, and the door is always open for him to come in…It’s a good question, and some of it just comes down to working out the dates. I would rather not get into it, but I respect you asking about it. If I can give as much information as possible to try to keep a very constructive dialogue. I hope we get Chris back in, and a star like Chris Jericho can negotiate a certain number of dates, and Chris has always been great about being one of the wrestlers in AEW that, when he’s in, he’s all the way in. Chris Jericho himself has also kept his future shrouded in mystery, as he has yet to confirm any plans of his. He has confirmed that he is currently still with the Jacksonville-based promotion.

During a recent edition of his Talk is Jericho podcast, he was joined by both the Hardy Boyz and Dudley Boys. Bully Ray asked Jericho regarding his future, and he gave a vague answer, telling everyone to just wait and see what happens.

“Well, I’m just going to give it my all and give it 100%. Just see what happens, brother.”

With a couple of months to go in the year, information about Chris Jericho’s future may come to light soon. For now, fans should just stay tuned for any new updates on the situation.

Lost pieces performed for first time in 320 years

Previously unknown organ works by Johann Sebastian Bach have been presented and performed in Germany for the first time in 320 years.

Germany’s Culture Minister Wolfram Weimer called the discovery of the two pieces a “great moment for the world of music”.

They first caught the attention of the Peter Wollny, a researcher of the German composer and musician, in 1992 when he was cataloguing Bach manuscripts at the Royal Library of Belgium in Brussels.

The organ works – the Chaconne in D minor BWV 1178 and Chaconne in G minor BWV 1179 – were undated and unsigned. Mr Wollny spent the next 30 years working to confirm the identity of the pieces.

They were performed at the St Thomas Church in Leipzig, where Bach is buried and where he worked as a cantor for 27 years.

The two pieces were played by Dutch organist Ton Koopman, who said he was proud to be able to perform them for the first time in 320 years.

He said the pieces were “of a very high quality” and would be “a great asset for organists today, as they are also suitable for smaller organs”.

They are believed to have been composed early in Bach’s career, when he was working as an organ teacher in the town of Arnstadt in Thuringia.

Mr Wollny, who is now the director of the Bach Archive in Leipzig, said they displayed several characteristics unique to the composer.

“Stylistically, the works also contain features that can be found in Bach’s works from this period, but not in those of any other composer,” he said.

They are believed to have been written down in 1705 by one of Bach’s pupils, Salomon Günther John.

At a presentation of the works, Mr Wollny said he was “99.99% sure that Bach had written the two pieces” and they have now been added to the official catalogue of his works.

Yash and the other officers prepare themselves for Vishnu, but Vishnu successfully intrudes into Mahesh’s home and brutally murders him after raping his wife Rachana (Anaitha Nair). The event leaves Yash and the other officers shaken but Yash and Maya’s marriage take place. Meanwhile, Vishnu decides to attack each of the officers’ weaknesses; he kidnaps Swati, Atul’s wife, and Atul is forced to tell him where Yash will be that night. Yash and Maya passionately enjoy their wedding night of love and bliss; however, this proves to be their first and last night together, as Vishnu and his henchmen invade the house and attack Yash and Maya the next morning.
Yash is fatally shot and Maya is kidnapped in the attack. Yash miraculously survives the attack. Vishnu tells Atul that he will release Swati if Atul kills Yash. However, Atul cannot bring himself to kill his friend and instead joins forces with Yash to execute a plan against Vishnu and save Maya and Swati. Yash, Atul and Kamlesh all go together to the place where Vishnu has been keeping Maya and Swati hostage and find, in horror, that Swati has already been murdered. In despair and heartbreak, Atul kills himself after seeing Swati’s body. Out of the 4 police officers, only two are left now: Yash & Kamlesh. Yash and Kamlesh go together and face Vishnu in a final confrontation. Kamlash is shot but survives. Vishnu shoots Maya in front of Yash and drops her from the second floor. Yash catches her but is unable to save her. Maya assures Yash that she has gotten her wish of being with him and dies in Yash’s arms. Anger and sorrow build up in Yash and he brutally finishes off Vishnu, exacting his revenge.
At the end, Yash is shown living alone again, having gone back to his professional life. Kamlash calls Yash and tells him that he has found a new informer. Yash turns to Maya’s photo before leaving and says that he’ll be coming home late tonight.”

Jean-Philippe Mateta scored his second goal in as many starts for France as Didier Deschamps’ men came through an early scare to beat Azerbaijan 3-1 in Baku.

There was nothing on the line in France’s final outing in 2026 World Cup qualifying after Thursday’s 4-0 victory over Ukraine sealed their spot at next year’s tournament.

Les Bleus named a much-changed team at the Tofig Bahramov Republican Stadium, with Kylian Mbappe among their absentees after he withdrew from the squad with an ankle injury.

And Azerbaijan were dreaming of a famous win when Renat Dadashov got across the front post to divert Rahman Dasdamirov’s left-wing cross home in the fourth minute.

The hosts continued to take the game to France, but the visitors got level in the 17th minute as Mateta met Malo Gusto’s dinked cross with a close-range header.

MARGARET BRENNAN: We go now to New Hampshire Democratic Senator Jeanne Shaheen. Good morning to you, Senator.

SENATOR JEANNE SHAHEEN: Good morning. Nice to be with you.

MARGARET BRENNAN: Well you have spent a good part of the past year trying to get legislation through to extend those Obamacare tax credit subsidies. Last Sunday, you crossed the aisle. You agreed to reopen the government, end the shutdown without a guaranteed extension, but with a promise to have some kind of vote on an ACA bill of Democrats’ own choosing. Do you have consensus among Democrats that this needs to be a vote simply to extend the tax credits as they stand now or are you open to a broader reform of Obamacare?

SEN. SHAHEEN: Well from the beginning of this shutdown I’ve had two goals. One is to get government up and running again to end the suffering that too many Americans were experiencing because they lost food assistance or they weren’t getting paid federal employees, and the second was to address the high cost of premium- health insurance that people are looking at because insurance companies are setting rates based on the fact that those premium tax credits are not- are supposed to go away at the end of this year. I think people are now very aware of the fact that they are going to see huge rate increases double for so many people, and an unaffordable cost of health insurance if those premium tax credits go away. And what I think we need to do, and these are conversations that we need to have, is we need to work with our Republican colleagues to try and get a bill that can be supported. That can get through both houses of Congress where we’ve been talking to our Republicans, Senator Cassidy, throughout the shutdown, about what we might be able to agree to. We’ve been talking to House members on both sides of the aisle, and so now we need to work together. I agree with Senator Cassidy. This should be a bill that is not partisan, but it should be a bill to extend those premium tax credits, because, as everybody has talked about, there is real urgency to get this done. And if we don’t address it, then people are going to see huge rate increases. —

MARGARET BRENNAN: — Yeah. —

SEN. SHAHEEN: — So we can work together, we can extend the credits, but we probably can’t implement significant reforms that Senator Cassidy was talking about in the time frame that we’ve got. So we need to look both in the short term and in the long term for how we address the cost of health care.

MARGARET BRENNAN: Okay, so that’s an important point. So the 26 billion or so that he talks about as the cost for extension of these that he wants to redirect into these cash accounts, these flexible accounts. You’re saying you can’t get that done in six weeks time.

SEN. SHAHEEN: No, you can’t. —

MARGARET BRENNAN: — Okay. —

SEN. SHAHEEN: — And again, there’s real urgency to do this. There’s some good, bipartisan legislation that has come out of committee in the Senate that I think we should take up. Things that would expedite approval of generic drugs and biosimilars, that would address PBM reform, which is a huge cost increase for health care, but that’s a longer term issue. Right now, we need to address what people are facing in terms of those high rate increases because of the threat that these premium tax credits are going to end.

MARGARET BRENNAN: Just to put a fine point on it, when we heard the Congressman at the top of the program talk about, you know, caps on income and restrictions on who can benefit from those tax credits. Can you get your fellow Democrats, who, by the way, are pretty angry at each other, angry at you as well, about this decision to reopen the government? Can you get everyone on board? Or can you at least get to 60 votes to be able to extend those subsidies with tweaks?

SEN. SHAHEEN: Well, first of all, we need to put the shutdown behind us in the circular firing squad and remember why we’re in this situation. We’re in this situation because Donald Trump and Speaker Johnson and the Republican majorities in the House and Senate have refused to address cost, the cost of health care, and are trying to throw people off their health care. Can we get to consensus? Well, we need to, if we’re going to get a bipartisan bill out of the Congress. I think we’ve seen and heard from health insurance companies that implementing significant changes in the first year is going to be really difficult to do, almost impossible. But we ought to be able to agree on some changes like capping the income of people who receive those premium tax credits. Right now, 94% of people who get the credits earn under $200,000 a year, and the average income for a single recipient is about a little over $30,000 a year. So most people who are getting these tax credits are not in that high income level —

MARGARET BRENNAN: — Yeah. —

SEN. SHAHEEN: — And so we should be able to agree on that. We should be able to agree that we don’t want any fraud and abuse in the program. —

MARGARET BRENNAN: — Right. —

SEN. SHAHEEN: — That’s something Republicans and Democrats believe in. So let’s focus on what we can agree to. Let’s look at what we can get done in the time frame we have, and recognize there is real urgency to get these premium tax credits extended.

MARGARET BRENNAN: So you’re going to have this vote around the second week of December, but premiums are already notified out. They are already —

SEN. SHAHEEN: — Right. —

MARGARET BRENNAN: — sort of baked in here for- certainly for Americans who buy government health care. Is it too late to extend open enrollment? I mean, Senator Cassidy was saying like ship has sailed here.

SEN. SHAHEEN: No, we could actually decide that we were willing as part of this legislation to extend open enrollment. Obviously, we need support from the administration, but insurance companies, in meeting with the insurance industry, they’ve indicated that while it would be difficult, they could address some of the challenges around not getting agreement until December. Again, that’s why there’s urgency to get this done.

MARGARET BRENNAN: I want to ask you about another matter. Survivors of convicted child sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, as well as some of the families of those survivors, wrote a letter to lawmakers supporting the release of Justice Department internal communications in regard to his case. In that letter, they said there was no middle ground here. There was no hiding behind party affiliation. We will remember your decision at the ballot box. You know, this House vote is set to come up this week. Should there be a vote in the Senate? And would you support it, to see the release of these documents?

SEN. SHAHEEN: Absolutely. We need to release the documents. The American people need to see what’s in them. And if President Trump says there’s nothing there that he’s concerned about, then why doesn’t he support release of the documents?

MARGARET BRENNAN: Well, we will see if the Republican leader in the Senate takes up your proposal there. There has not been a commitment to have that kind of vote. But on Venezuela, since you are ranking member on Senate Foreign Relations, I want to make sure I ask you, the President said he has sort of made up his mind on what to do about Venezuela. You were one of the very few senators who have received briefings within the past few weeks from Secretaries Rubio and Hegseth regarding the strikes that are being carried out on these small, fast moving boats. Is there a clear end game here and is your understanding that ousting Nicolas Maduro from power is part of the administration’s plan?

SEN. SHAHEEN: I don’t think it’s clear what the end game is for this administration with respect to Venezuela. They’re relying on a legal opinion, excuse me, in terms of the boat strikes that they have not released. They have finally made it available to members of Congress, but they haven’t released it to the public. They are escalating in a way that talking about a land strike through special operations that puts at risk our men and women in the military. We have so much firepower now in the Caribbean, the Gerald R. Ford has been taken from the Red Sea, so that now we don’t have any firepower, really, in the Middle East as we look at the threats there. We don’t have what we need, I think, in the Indo-Pacific or in Europe. And so what the President has done here is to put at risk other parts of the world and Americans in other parts of the world for this fascination on trying to get rid of Nicolás Maduro in Venezuela, who clearly is —

Kylie Kelce and Abby Wambach are on the same page when it comes to leaving kids alone during their sports practice sessions. During her guest appearance on the “Welcome to the Party” podcast in September, Wambach suggested that fellow parents not stay back for their kids’ practice sessions.

According to her, it directly impacts their performance due to the unintentional pressure parents end up putting on the young ones. In Thursday’s episode of “Not Gonna Lie” podcast, Kylie issued a similar statement, siding with Wambach in this parenting advice.

“I cannot agree with this more,” Kylie said. [Timestamp: 9:28] “Don’t go to…what are you doing? Don’t go to practice. Do not go to practice. The practice is set up to prepare them for gameplay, right?

Apart from agreeing with Wambach, Kylie also issued some tips for parents that they can follow while leaving their kids to practice. According to the podcaster, parents can “stick around in the parking lot.” To her, doing that “is fine.” Kylie’s statement came almost a week after her husband, Jason, got furious after a flight with his daughter, Wyatt.

Ryan Williams was in attendance as Los Angeles Dodgers manager Dave Roberts gave the Alabama Crimson Tide a pregame speech ahead of their showdown with LSU. Ryan Williams said,

Nick Saban and Dave Roberts are two of the biggest winners in their respective fields. Nick Saban won seven national football championships as the head coach of the LSU Tigers and Alabama Crimson Tide, while Roberts is a four-time World Series champion.

Sophomore star wide receiver Ryan Williams is aiming for national football championship glory alongside his teammates. The promising pass catcher ignored the advances via the transfer portal, and he’s now helping his side to an 8-1 record in 2025.

The Crimson Tide started the season with a shocking loss to the Florida State Seminoles. That loss led to questions about Kalen DeBoer’s suitability for the job, but he has since helped the Crimson Tide win eight consecutive games, and they’re now on the brink of reaching the playoffs for the first time in the post-Nick Saban era.

The Crimson Tide has produced some of the best wide receivers in the game in recent memory. Such popular names include but aren’t limited to Julio Jones, Amari Cooper, DeVonta Smith, Jaylen Waddle, and Jerry Jeudy. Williams is looking to etch his name into the record books by bringing a big game title to Bama.

Alabama’s last three games this season are against the Oklahoma Sooners, Eastern Illinois Panthers, and last but not least, a closeout game against the Auburn Tigers.
